An eggy brunch, a warming soup, a hearty pasta… comfort food doesn’t have to be unhealthy!  Frittatas, soups and pastas are a perfect way to showcase a variety of proteins and a rainbow of veggies… and use whatever might be in the fridge.


Techniques you will learn and practice include food safety, knife skills, prep and organization, seasoning, taste and flavor, egg cookery, broth based and cream soups, cooking and finishing pasta, broiling, searing and more!

  • sausage and eggplant frittata

  • Italian wedding soup

  • cream of tomato soup or corn chowder

  • farmer’s market pesto pasta and parmesan crusted salmon

  • pasta al limone (creamy lemon pasta) with asparagus and seared scallops
